 I always didn't like it when I had to install "custom" programs on my smartphone or PC. Either they required a lot of extra permissions or caused my security concerns.

For example, webcams required a client to be installed to view the image. To the same phone from which I perform banking operations.

Where are the security guarantees?
The absence of any client part can be a guarantee.

Therefore, the Rescue PHOTO  application is written so as not to use any paid services or devices that may contain critical information.
